I bought this product because I always have trouble with pin vises--both holding them straight while I swivel and getting them tight enough to hold the drill bit firmly. My first experiments with this product suggest it is great on both counts! The collets are very solid and the swivel is comfortable and easy to use. And the price is pretty amazing.

The negative is that the vise only includes two size collets. I have experimented with a #69 bit and the smaller collet works very well. However, the larger collet is too large for 1/16" bit. So there is a gap in between. It appears that dremel style collets will fit this, so I will keep experimenting and see if the grip is as strong as it is with the collets that come with the vise. !
